Have you ever tried exercising? Or are you someone who does it every day? I tried a walking challenge with my friend. We walked every day, meeting our goals for more than a month. Sometimes, we even surpassed our targets. Those who were close to us looked at our appearances and never noticed the change. But when we stopped, things changed. We added more kilos. It was very visible. Trying to develop good habits, whether physical or spiritual, requires consistent effort. Proverbs 14:23 says, "In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty." We have one life to live and one Savior to live for. Can we make consistent prayer and Bible reading habits to give Him our best? Paul appreciates sportspeople who train every day. He says we are pushing for something much more profitable than that. Are we living with the understanding of that? Maybe we say, "I don't feel like praying or reading." When you try walking, you won't feel like doing it every day. But by doing so, you are burning fat. You are training your weak muscles and strengthening them. Similarly, by praying and reading His word every day, we train our inner man. He or she is becoming stronger inside us. We are building strong muscles. No challenge can stand before you when you allow your inner man to grow in strength. He grows by obeying the Holy Spirit every day. Be conscious of listening and obeying the Spirit of God. Let us be like people in Psalm 1:3: "They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves don't dry up. They succeed in everything they do." Let us put a full stop to worrying over anything and getting tired of developing good, godly habits. Let us run in such a way as to win the prize. 1 Corinthians 9:24: "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." Dear God, Strengthen our inner man. May we regularize our prayer and Bible reading habits. May we worship You with the life we have received from You. Help us to grow every day in strength physically, spiritually, and mentally. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

"Who (which designer) are you wearing?" is a famous question asked of celebrities when it comes to the fashion, entertainment, and sports industries. Yes, you heard it right. Sportspeople from Mongolia are being highlighted in the news for their outfits for the upcoming Olympics in France, a country known for fashion. The Mongolian sportsmen’s attire showcased intricate details about their tradition, culture, and the name of their country, which they represent. The designers took time to create these outfits, which are now receiving international attention. Someone even commented that they deserve a gold medal for their attire. The designers used the world stage to their country's advantage. As Christians, what or who are we called to wear? I am not going to talk about designer clothes here. In Galatians 3:26-27, Paul writes, “In Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” Wearing Christ represents living in light. Romans 13:12-14 goes like this: "Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ." The verse before that emphasizes by saying, "So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light." Jesus himself called his followers the salt and light of the world we live in. When we give no space to darkness in us, Satan has no power over us. Light also represents good deeds, as in Matthew 5:16: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Thus, when we shun evil and do good deeds with our bodies, we are wearing Christ and glorifying the Father. Just like those Mongolian Olympians who wore designer clothes represented their brand and brought glory to their country, as children of God, let us dedicate ourselves to wear Christ and walk in the light. Let those who see our deeds see that and praise God. So, next time when someone sees you may know that you are wearing Jesus. May God help us, strengthen us, and anoint us to wear Jesus Christ. May He equip us to do the good deeds that bring praise to our Father in heaven. Dear God, Help us to stay consistently in the light. May we have godly habits, godly thinking, and Christ-like characteristics. May we do the good deeds that Jesus did while He lived on earth. Give us a clear conscience, a heart of purity, and a mind of clarity that thinks and acts like Jesus. Bless us, Lord, and teach us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

One of the greatest blessings any of us who trust Jesus can receive is the peace He gives. I wondered about the following verse when I was a child. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27. But now I know by casting our cares on the Lord we receive peace. The childhood days were days when we had no need to worry about clothing, food, the travel we had to take to school, our fees etc. We trusted our parents, and no worry was inside us. God expects us to have the same trust when it comes to our needs being met. He wants us to know that He knows our needs as He is our Father. We just have to trust Him like a child with no worry and receive those blessings from Him. So do not start worrying: 'Where will my food come from? or my drink? or my clothes?Your father in heaven knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:31 On the other hand, He asks us to be concerned about something else. Matthew 6:33 says, "Instead, be concerned about everything else with the kingdom of God and with what He requires of you." If we keep our minds occupied with how to please our God, fulfilling His will for us, walking in His ways, and keeping His commandments, we have less time to worry about the needs that are sure to be met by our Father in heaven. May we consider filling our hearts with His words. May we consider doing something for His name's glory in our lives. May heaven and His kingdom be tangible to us, not just something that might be on the other end. May we live with hope. Dear God, Help us and fill us with concerns and thoughts about pleasing You always. Give us hearts filled with Your words, ready to do Your will. May You be glorified in our lives. Thank You for considering us special and taking care of our needs already. In Jesus' name, we thank You. Amen.

We must have received wrong calls and calls where our parents or friends called us, thinking they were dialing another person. Andrew recently lost the job where he held a respectable position, heading more than one team. He was literally broken by that sudden termination, for which none from management came forward to give an explanation. He started to wait on the Lord. One day, a friend called him by mistake, supposing he was calling another person to help with job seeking. When the friend understood he had called Andrew instead, he apologized and said he was trying to call a friend who was in dire need of a job. Andrew replied that he too was in need. The friend showed him the way to apply for a vacancy in a multinational company. What a surprise! His prayers were answered by God through that wrong call. God turned the sudden termination into a sudden breakthrough (within a few days) where he received three times his previous salary. God will never ignore and leave us alone in our distress. Someone in the Bible too was surprised in the same way. He was Saul, who was searching for his father's lost donkey and met Samuel, who anointed him to be the first king of God's people, Israel. God orchestrated everything from behind by preplanning good things for us. To us, it might sound accidental. Trust me, my friend, every good gift for us comes from God. He has great plans for us—plans to prosper. The good things reserved for us will come to us at the appointed time as in I Samuel, Samuel said, “This is the meat saved for you. Eat it, because it was set aside for you for this special time. As I said, ‘I had invited the people.’” So Saul ate with Samuel that day. 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. '” — Jeremiah 29:11. He turns the betrayals, the shame we endured, for the glory of His name. He will never forsake us. He keeps His promises. He will keep surprising us with His amazing ways, which are greater than our plans. We will receive things beyond our expectations and imaginations from our God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20 He will make us pass through every tough situation with His mighty hand. The sorrow has to end. The waiting has to end. The night will pass away. The sun will rise. Our hope will rise. We will walk in His promises. The God who changes the seasons is with us. He is in control of our lives. Dear God, We thank you for your amazing ways. We bless you for you are always good to us, planning great things beyond our understanding. Help us to cling to our faith in your unfailing love in every situation. We know you will never fail us. In Jesus' name, we thank you for the surprises you have in store for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

The Bible says Jesus Christ has been tested in every way like us. He is able to help in our weaknesses. What an amazing thing it is to have a helper who strengthens us in our weaknesses. In Matthew 5, Satan told Jesus to do certain things like turning stones to bread, jumping from a height, and worshiping the devil. And Jesus overcame all by the Word of God. He uttered scriptures that were against such acts. After that, angels came to help Him. How are we handling the temptations? Have we filled our hearts with God's Word to use it when the time comes to defeat Satan? God wants us to fight against the temptations like how Jesus did. We cannot wait for some angel to help us in escaping the challenges. We have to stand against temptation and fight. And know that help is on the way. Verse 11 says, "Then the Devil left Jesus; and angels came and helped Him." Let us be aware that the Holy Spirit is living inside us. When Jesus defeated Satan's temptation, He went out and started His ministry. He said, "Turn away from your sins, because the kingdom of heaven is near!" We carry God's kingdom in us when we overcome the sin around us. Let's fill ourselves with His words and resist the devil, and he has to flee before us. Dear God, help us to live like the citizens of your kingdom. Help us to overcome our weaknesses with your strength. When we are near, may people know God's kingdom is near. In Jesus' name we pray. I recently visited my friend, who has a little son. It was evening, and the boy eagerly awaited his dad's return from work. Twice he asked us, "When will Dad come?" His mom reassured him, "Wait, he will reach home soon." After a few minutes, his dad arrived. The little one shouted, "Dad!" and ran outside to open the door and greet him with pure love. It reminded me of how I used to rush to open the long gate for my dad—a golden memory. Then the little one joyfully came to us with a box of cake his dad had bought for him. I said to his mom, "See what a reward he got for waiting patiently." She replied, "Yes, this is how he is every day." It made me reflect: how eagerly do we wait for our heavenly Father? Do we anticipate His presence daily? Do we rejoice like that child and love deeply when we finally hear His voice? Can our Father see the pure joy in us when He looks at us? Let's wait upon the Lord every day with love. Hebrews 11:6 says, 'he rewards those who earnestly seek him. ' Even the lions may grow weak and hungry but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10). A year ago, I visited Madhuranthakam and remembered a well-known man of God I had met years before. I asked my husband to take me there, and he gladly agreed as we had some work nearby. When we arrived, we found no one in the compound except a frail old woman, who informed us that the man of God was resting in his room after a day of ministry. She said he wasn't to be disturbed at that time. Despite explaining that I had traveled far, she couldn't do much. After waiting a few more minutes, I decided to leave. During this time, God spoke to me and said, "Daughter, it's okay that you traveled eagerly to meet this tired man. Instead, you could have waited on Me, his Master, who is never tired to meet with you directly." I took the words of the Holy Spirit to heart and thanked Him for His ever-present love. Psalm 130:5 “I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;” Dear God, thank You for Your love. Help us to walk closely with You and to know Your loving heart, dear Father. May we find satisfaction in Your presence and always feel able to reach out to You. We love You. In Jesus' name, we thank You. Amen.

It was another beautiful day in Coimbatore. We were about to attend a wedding the next day, but heavy rain was pouring down. We hoped it wouldn't rain at the garden where the wedding was scheduled. The wedding day arrived. The wedding service was wonderful at the church, and as we headed home, we planned to go to the garden for the reception. Rain started pouring in my neighborhood. As my husband started the car, we said a prayer for clear skies at the reception. When we reached the reception, it was drizzling. We waited in a long queue and approached the stage. Perplexed, I asked my husband, "Pa, it's drizzling continuously, and we're not getting drenched. How is this possible especially when the weather prediction said it would rain heavily?" He replied, "This is called 'Grace.' The family faithfully loves God, and He is honoring their faithfulness by helping them when they need it the most." The family was faithful to God when they went through the storm with illness, the man of the house testified twice of God's grace and goodness during the course of the wedding celebrations. I took his message to heart. We went on to congratulate the dear couple and their loving parents. God honored their efforts, and we witnessed it firsthand. How gracious is our God! Our job is to remain faithful in trusting Him for everything, and He will show up without fail when we need Him the most. The reward will come supernaturally, beyond our understanding, a wonder to many. Psalm 36:5: "Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds." Like the above verse, God's faithfulness literally reached the clouds that day. How great is His mercy towards us. Hey friend - it does not matter what you go through. Be of good courage and stay faithful. The Lord who called you by name is faithful. He will fight for you when you need Him the most. Just trust Him. He will fight your battles in His own way. Dear God, thank you for your faithfulness towards us and always being there for us when we need you the most. We love you, Lord. In Jesus' name, we thank. Amen.

Do we ever doubt God? What does the Bible say about us when we doubt? The Bible simply calls us a double-minded person. It is in James 1:6-8: "You must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." When God blesses us with a miracle or a supernatural intervention, we are so happy and our prayers become powerful. We are able to feel God's presence. But when we are sad and doubtful, we end up questioning His presence. However, God is always there. An author named Rebecca Brown says that when she doubted the Father's love, thinking that He was angry at her and had forsaken her, she trembled at how she imagined the Father God in such a way. In our weakness, we have our loving God Jesus as a sympathetic High Priest. He strengthens us and encourages us to pray again. "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin" (Heb. 4:15). According to 2 Timothy 1:7: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." It is very clear that God wants us to have a sound mind—a mind with no doubt or worry, a mind free in Christ.In Psalms 51:10-12: "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me." Here, David talks about losing his joy. He felt abandoned. He prays to God to give him a willing spirit. Only those who have the Holy Spirit can explain the joy He brings to our lives. How good our God is to us. May He help us to overcome our double-mindedness, doubt, and disbelief. May He give us a sound mind and a steady spirit that does not waver at anything. Dear God,Help us to abide and rest assured in your words always. May we never doubt or waver about anything. May you bless us with the strength that comes from your Holy Spirit. May we never lose the joy of our salvation. Thank you, dear Jesus, for being our sympathetic priest. Thank you, dear Holy Spirit, for the joy and sound mind you give us. Thank you, dear Father, for your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we thank you. Amen.

How differently our God looks at us. All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags, says Isaiah 64. Jesus highlights a man who emphasized his righteousness before God when he prayed. We can never stay justified before God because of our actions. The Lord is loving and requires us to give Him our heart. He blessed the man who knew his need for Him to become righteous. The tax collector's prayer was not ignored by God. He never referred to the other and said, "I am greater than you because I do this and that." God knows the worth of all. We don't need to prove our worth to God. Hey friend, may God give us wisdom not to judge anyone based on our understanding of them. God knows everything. We don't have to tell God about someone's past or present. And God doesn't consider us as just when we measure others. May He help us develop an attitude like His. May He help us understand our rags. And may we beg for God to bless us with His righteousness that comes through accepting Christ. Dear God, thank you for your salvation. Thank you for the blood of Christ. Thank you for calling us your children. We love you, Dad, for your matchless love. Help us to not to judge and forgive those who judge us. In Jesus' name, we thank you. Amen.

When God chose Aaron and his sons as priests, He gave them specific instructions about the way they should offer sacrifices unto the Lord. Offering service is an act of worship, much like how Abraham used the word "worship" when he went to offer his son to the Lord. By worship, he meant sacrificing his son, giving what he loved most to God. Often, worship and sacrifice go hand in hand. While worshipping, God saved Isaac when He saw the heart of Abraham and his love for Him. However, the fire devoured Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, when they offered a sacrifice to God. God had anointed them to do that work and checked their hearts while they were doing it. They acted negligently by adding fire in their own way. Leviticus 10 Verse 2 says fire blazed forth from the Lord's presence and burned them up. God explained the reason for the death of Aaron's sons through Moses. Moses said to Aaron, This is what the LORD spoke, saying: 'By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.' We are also worshipping the Lord and offering praise to Him. Is the element of sacrifice present in our offering? Are we able to sacrifice anything that is trying to take the top place in our lives, the place where God should be? God sees our hearts and examines us. May we be careful when we worship God. May we sacrifice what we ought to in His presence. Let us not add fire in our own way. When we come close to the Lord, may He be honored. Dear God, may we never act with negligence when we worship You. May we sacrifice what needs to be sacrificed for Your glory. May our praise, prayers, and lives be acceptable in Your eyes. Open our eyes to see Your holiness and walk accordingly before You. May we not behave in foolish ways. Give us wisdom to honor You in all we do. May they be acts of worship unto You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Certain days bring back joyful memories. One such day is Father's Day. Before we go further, let me share my heartfelt Father's Day wishes to every father out there. I am well privileged to be the daughter of my dad, Mr. V. Sobitharaj, who loved me dearly more than anything. My dad used to tell me that my pastor is my spiritual father. My pastor, Steve Jeyaraj, showered me with love and wisdom. Our church was so blessed to have him as we celebrated every Mother's and Father's Day. I always made sure to surprise my dad. Most of the time, it was a creative gift like cards and small presents. But I know there is nothing I can give to repay the way he raised me. I have always heard my friends telling me about the distance they have with their fathers. I totally respected my father, but for sure, we were like best friends. There are only very few instances where I had seen him getting angry. He cared about my spiritual life, and I came to know a lot about the Bible through him and my spiritual father. The way he walked with the Lord, the way he wanted to do something for the Lord, was truly something inspiring. Once, I remember a distant relative of mine coming to my house and sharing about his transformation (receiving salvation). He was saved in his forties. He told us that he wasted his life until then and started living and working for Christ only in his forties. My dad listened to all and later said to me, "I am glad that I started working for the Lord in my late twenties. I can say before the Lord that I never wasted my time on earth." I was a witness to it. I watched him walking closely with the Lord. I watched him being a part of many ministries. He respected every denomination, loved my mom, and was so proud of all her achievements. He acted as if she was his pride. The pastor who spoke about him at his funeral said this man never showed denomination differences. He loved God's people and His church equally. I am so proud that that was his testimony. For Christ's sake, I have seen him go through humiliation and what not, but the Lord was with him till the end. He was keen on providing us with the best. I never worried or longed for anything when he was providing for us. Whenever he bought me a dress, bangles, bags, or even chappals, he used to say, "See how good the Lord is. He is making us happy. He is providing our needs." He loved God and talked about Him as if the Lord were walking with us. He used to say, "The Lord God is with us like a lion, as He is the Lion of Judah." He integrated God into everything. He never let us down. A single blog is not enough to talk about everything he did for me. I never remember him making me cry for anything. What a great dad our God has given me. After his passing, God told me that He would be my father. I remember how difficult it was for me to accept it. I found it very difficult to call God "Dad." I used to go mum whenever a song called God a father to us. It was a pure struggle. I know even my dad wouldn't want me to struggle like that. I was not happy at all that God took him away, even when I begged Him when he was struggling for his life. But I am slowly learning now to accept God as my dad. My God, my dad, has never forsaken me to this date. He helps me in my struggles. He is training my hands for war. He is not like my earthly dad; keeping God as my father is entirely different. He shows love in many different ways. He has helped me cross the valley of tears and has made me strong. When people around me called me a strong person, the praise goes only to Him. He gave me tough battles to become a tough warrior. He helped me brave my fears and worries. The path was not easy, and my God, my dad, never said it would be an easy walk. But He is the one who walked on water; He is making me walk over things I never thought possible in the past. My dad God walked with Daniel's friends in the fire, and He walks beside me and protects me in the fire. My dad God strengthened the faith of all who trusted Him and made them brave in their waiting, and I am pretty sure He will never fail to do that for me. With this dad God, I am in every way a blessed daughter. I love my dad God. Happy Father's Day, my dear dad God. Dear Dad God, I pray for every dad out there. Bless them and their children. I pray also for those who miss their dads today. Be their dad, God. Help them understand Your relentless pursuit, Lord. Let them never feel abandoned. May Your loving presence be known to them. May they feel Your presence. Thank You for being a great dad, God, to me. Thank You for everything. You are the best. In Jesus' name, I thank. Amen.

Hey friend... How refreshing it is to finish a week and step into the weekend. For some of us, this is the only time to go on a long-awaited walk in the park, do the gardening, chat with family, or shop for the family. Just wanted to spark a little thought before we dive into our exciting day ahead. Some of you may be familiar with an animation called Inside Out, a movie that depicts how our emotions are at work inside us. Whenever you see the character Anger at work, it acts in a rush. When left unnoticed, this behavior will continue and become the prime characteristic that defines a person. But more than anything, I feel sad for people who are projected as having Anger as their notable emotion. I have seen such people being used by others to achieve their means. And whenever an issue arises, people do not focus on the basis of the problem but find it very easy to blame Mr. Anger. They are the easy targets everywhere! This makes the so-called soft-acting manipulators have their way! Recently, I came across a learned man from the medical field hurling abuses at the employees of a restaurant in just a moment. Yes, when Mr. Anger displays Anger through words, it is a thoughtless hurling of words and can be rightly named as Abuse and nothing else. This will kill the spirit of another person. Hey friend, God has given us a life to live well. When you give a chance to anger in your life, you are giving yourself a chance to be disrespected, to be ignored, and to be used by cunning manipulators. May God give us the wisdom to use it wisely. May we never use it to show our power over others. James 1:19-20“My dear brothers and sisters, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for human anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness.” Keep the above and listen quickly, be slow to speak, and slow to anger. The quickness here in otherwise will display foolishness. I have heard that people who hurl abuses have a spirit of anger behind them. May we control our environment by praising God and create an atmosphere of joy and worship where the devil can never enter. Dear God, give us grace to be slow to anger and be wise in controlling our emotions. May we have the wisdom to create an atmosphere of praise everywhere we go and live. In Jesus' name, we pray. Can we envision what God has for us? Do we have any vision about our future? God has a vision for all of us. Maybe you would say no, the problem you are facing is not enabling you to see what God has for you. The same was the case with Abraham. When he was tired while waiting, God took him out of his place. He asked him to count the stars and envision them as his own generation. He took him outside and said, ‘Look at the sky and count the stars, if you are able to count them.’ Then He said to him, ‘Your offspring will be that numerous.’” (Genesis 15:5, NIV) The vision strengthened him to look forward to receiving the promise. The vision will change your perspective. Try to envision the promises God gave you. Our God is the God of Abraham. He who blessed him will bless us like He blessed him. How are we talking about us, our promise, our God, whatever He has given us? Recently, I listened to a pastor named Justin Samuel, who said the following: Imagine that you are giving a gift to someone, for example, a watch. The person keeps on looking at the watch and saying that it does not look nice, it is not trendy, fashionable, this and that. By saying so, the receiver is not only talking ill of the gift but also the gift giver. God has given us many gifts, like our parents, spouse, children, jobs, house, and church. Are we thanking God for the received gifts, or are we dishonoring Him by talking ill of them? Let us be careful in what we say about what we have, as we got all we have from God. We have people from the Bible who had good vision and also good words. The best example is Caleb and Joshua. They said to all the people of Israel, “The land we traveled through and explored is a wonderful land! And if the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey. Do not rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!”Numbers 14:6, 7,8. Though others visited the promised land along with them, only these two went in. They honored God by honoring what He promised to give. They praised the land. By doing so, they honored God. They never said they were not going to live well in the land. They did not mourn about the giants in the land. They called them as Prey! They never said a negative word about what God promised them. They glorified God by trusting in His promise. What are we going to do, my friend? Are we going to murmur, curse, feel hopeless, and cry about the gifts God has given us? Praise God for your parents, spouse, job, house, church, etc. Glorify God today. Honor Him by cherishing the gifts He has given. God knows the giants you will face. But that is not an excuse for you to utter hopeless, negative words, which according to God is a sin. Dear God, thank you for everything, Father. I honor your name. May you be praised in my perspective, attitude, and faith. May I always lift you up by not letting you down by uttering anything negative about what I have. All I have is yours. I praise you for all. One of the Bible verses I adore most about the Father God is in Exodus 34:6-7: “The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, ‘The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin…’ (ESV).” We are living in an era where we have many movements emphasizing spreading kindness. Anyone can be one who spreads kindness when they read about what the Lord says in the Bible. I was thoroughly captivated when reading the verses in Leviticus chapter 19, verses 9-10: “‘When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the Lord your God.’ What a merciful God we serve. He wants his children to leave food for the poor after they have gathered for themselves. The following verse goes like this: ‘Do not make your hired workers wait until the next day to receive their pay.’ The Lord is concerned about the worker receiving their pay in time. In today's world, the struggle is real even for people who love the Lord to fulfill these duties to their workers. It's obvious that the Lord wants us to have the pay for our work. Then where are we going wrong? Wait for the Lord, ask Him for help to fulfill your duties to your workers. The crow is just the tool used by God to feed Elijah; the crow is not God. Waiting for the crow to feed you is foolishness. I recently read a beautiful post on a platform related to work. It said, all of us are not in the same boat. Some of us are in ships. Some of us have canoes, while some are swimming. The storm cannot affect all the same. Not everyone can go through the storm like some of us do. The swimmer can't survive as the others. May the Lord equip us and help us to do our duties to the ones who work for us. In no way are we even ethical when we get more work and pay less. That is not the Lord's way. Our master is the Lord God. May He help us show kindness to people who are in the storm with us, yet not in the same boat! Dear God, we pray for our Christian brothers and sisters who are in storms. With Jesus in our boat, we know we are safe. We trust you alone to provide for every need we have this month. May the Christian leaders around us be supplied and fulfilled to pay for their workers. All of us are waiting for God's blessings in one area or another, or as a whole, like Jacob. Jacob was a man who deceived his own brother and thought of acquiring the prophecies about him by stealing from his brother. Was life easy for him when he got it? No. He married a beautiful woman he fell in love with. Was life happy after that? No. His beautiful wife's prayer for a child was denied for a long time while poor Leah's prayer was answered. Rachel suffered along with him with barrenness until God answered her prayers for a child. Did their joy last after the birth of their children? She died soon after giving birth to their second child. So the answer is a big No. Every man feels honored when they are able to provide for their family on their own. Was that the case with Jacob? If you see Genesis 30:30, the answer is sadly another No. The verse goes like this: "But now what about me? When can I start providing for my own family?" What a painful life Jacob was leading. His life was tuned in such a way that all his hard work went to Laban. Jacob was a man who was blown in every way. How can we expect such a man to be quiet before God?He was tired of fighting for everything with his tricks. Jacob knew all his tricks on Esau, Rachel, and Laban went in vain. He now understood one can truly enjoy blessings when God intervenes. That was the case with his ancestors. Abraham and Isaac walked faithfully before God. He just fought with God to receive a blessing from Him. Can you imagine fighting with God throughout the night? We cannot win against God. A full stop to that question. How weary this man must have felt and how determined he was to seek God's blessings in such a way. God in turn gave this man great blessings. God changed his crooked ways and blessed him with a new name. His whole family changed after this encounter with God. He called God and named the place "Face of God." Later in chapter 33 verse 10, he saw his brother's smile and called that moment as seeing the face of God. (Thankfully, God gave him favor in Esau's eyes.) Peace came to Jacob. The next thing we can see is him providing for his family. He got a land and named it El-Elohe Israel (God, The God of Israel). In the next chapter, we can see him and his family throw away every idol they had and turn towards God. Genesis 35:3 goes like this: "I will build an altar to the God who answered my prayers when I was in distress. He has been with me wherever I have gone."After these events, God gave Jacob what he was longing to receive from God. In Genesis 35:11, God says, "I am El-Shaddai—God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply." Before everything in Jacob's life became Yes, Yes, Yes from No, No, No, he and his whole family had to go through a big cycle of change of heart, devotion, and ways. Are we tired like Jacob? Are we fighting Him in desperation? Let God change us and our families. Dear God, may our ways be pleasing to You. Intervene in our lives to bless us, to increase us. May all the sad, tiresome No's become Yes's in our lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Have you experienced spiritual weakness? Were you able to discern it when you were spiritually weak? All that time when you felt weak and depressed, you might have thought it was caused by your physical and mental weakness. But when that weariness leads you into sin, that's when the secret is out—the weakness is not just physical or mental but spiritual. Jonathan was one of the admirable characters in the Bible. He and his servant went into battle by praying and asking for a sign from God. They understood that if the enemy said, "Come up here," it was a sign from God that He would give them victory. Jonathan said, "The LORD can give us victory if we have many people, or just a few" (1 Samuel 14:6). Following that, Saul pursued the Philistines along with his people, ordering them not to eat. The people, starved and without food or drink, lacked the energy to follow their enemy. However, Jonathan found honey and felt enlightened and energized. At one point, the people, driven by starvation, killed animals and ate them with the blood, falling into sin. According to Saul, Jonathan was wrong in causing people to sin by eating the honey. But Jonathan was not indulging in gluttony; he was feeding himself to wage war with more strength. In Psalm 119, the Bible says, "How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth." Honey is interpreted as good in the Bible. The Bible itself is like honey—sweet and energizing us to wage our everyday battles effectively. The Bible is also bitter, as mentioned in Revelation. It has both tastes. It will rebuke you when you are sinning, and warn you, but at the same time, it will heal you, strengthen you, and comfort you Now, this is the secret: take the honey, God's word, and let it energize you to face your battles. As Jonathan said, may the Lord give you victory. Dear God, may Your word strengthen us. May we be energized to win our everyday battles and overcome our enemy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We might have come across someone saying, or even said ourselves, "God has forgotten me." Here in Deuteronomy, God asks Moses to write a song for Israel to sing and teach their children so that they will not forget God when they live well. According to God, songs are not just about something for His our joy alone; He emphasizes that a song is a testament between Him and His people. He wants us to remember His faithfulness when we sing. God let Israel and their generations have their own song to remember Him. In Deuteronomy 31:21, God says, "And when many disasters and calamities come on them, this song will testify against them because it will not be forgotten by their descendants. I know what they are disposed to do, even before I bring them into the land I promised them on oath." Israel failed God by making Him think that they would forget Him when they received what He had promised them. What will God say of us? Even when He gives us everything He promises, can He trust that we love Him above all and will not turn away from Him? May we sing songs that testify to everything He has done for us. Dear God, help us to sing before You always with a heart of gratitude, whether we have everything or are waiting to receive anything. May our love for You grow more and more. May You be delighted in our ways always. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

What can be a better companion than a book during train travel? I was reading a spiritual book while traveling, and it contained the following passage: God will not get tired of giving attention to the small details of our lives. As much as He worries about the big picture, like what you will become in the future or where you will live as a family, God has time to listen to our everyday work. Are you working in the kitchen? That is surely creative work. Include God in your work. He cares about you doing it right. The author said God cares about the details you put into your stitching. He helps you do it right. Be it anything, do it along with Him. He helps, encourages, and corrects. The Holy Spirit is our friend and comforter. We don't need to live our lives alone or handle our challenges alone. He is the God of details. Psalm 139 says, "For it was you who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made." He is our Creator, the master knitter, the remarkable and wonderful worker. Let others see Him in your work. He is interested in participating in all the details of our lives. Dear God, be with us every minute of the day, guide our hands in every work we do. May what we do have your touch in it. May it be remarkable and wonderful. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Today, when driving back home from church, I saw an advertisement from a real estate company that said, "Life is good when everything is prime." This is the happiness the world offers. Most of us feel happy when a new month starts. We go to church, give our tithe, and feel content with our earnings. When we are full, have we thought about how some have less or even none while we have plenty? This morning, I went to church not with a joyful heart, but a heavy one. The fortunate beginning I mentioned earlier was not the case for us this month. With so many needs to be met, I was in the presence of God, trying to sing, but only tears rolled down. The worship songs were filled with beautiful verses about how God thinks great things of us. I literally broke when I heard the song "Yakkobennum Sirupoochchiye." The words went like this: "உனது முகம் இனி வெட்கம் ஆவதில்லை. உனது முகம் இனி செத்து போவதில்லை, நீ என்னால் என்றும் மறக்கபடுவதில்லை" I could not look up; I sang with my face covered in tears. Throughout the worship, God sent verses to cheer me up. One song went, "கொஞ்சத்தை நினைத்து குழம்பாதே. கொடுப்பவர் உண்டு கொண்டாடு." When the man of God delivered his message, I noted everything down. Following the prayer, we all sat down. The man next to me couldn't stop telling what God had done for him. With a voice breaking, he said that doctors had told him he would die after an operation last week, but he was alive because of Jesus. That struck me deeply. I was afraid of what lay ahead and worried, but God is so generous that He gave this man back his life. The man's voice was full of thankfulness, and he shed happy tears. I understood then that I worry about future when God can save and be generous in saving me from everything. I went into church with many questions about my future but came out touched by His generous love, which is the essence of our faith. I learned not to worry but to be thankful even when I feel I have nothing much. I had failed to understand His generous love in protecting me from harm and disease. He is always faithful. It's about trusting Him during trials. In the afternoon, I visited my friend Rebecca Jeyani, who has dedicated her life to God and serves Him wholeheartedly. She said, "Anita, do not worry about anything. God has given you faith; just praise Him for who He is. Try this every morning. It works." When I left her, I was joyful. The situation hadn't changed, but I didn't let it take my joy away. I have a God who has given me life to live, and I am breathing fresh air. He who protects my life is able to take care of everything else. Some may find this particular blog of mine being emotional. I once heard a pastor say, "Christianity is not about feeling; it is about thinking." Thinking, believing, and understanding are good, but be yourself in His presence. Pour your heart out to Him if you cannot be joyful through your trials. Don't fake it; He surely understands. If you want to cry, do it. He will help you grow in your inner being. And it is completely fine to be yourself in His presence. When we see the psalmist we can see him sharing everything he go through to God. He is a man who is like us in every way. He relied on God for all support including his emotional need. At times when I read psalms in Good news Bible I have felt like David is sitting near me and talking about what he feels, struggles, what he thinks to God! The Holy Spirit helped Paul and Silas sing in prison and be thankful while under arrest. The same God who made them sing in the middle of bondage will help us sing. The same God who broke their bondage will give us a breakthrough too. Paul says the following challenging verse too which is in Philippians 4, "I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength". Acts 16 verses 24,25,26 says,..(the soldiers) thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. In faith I say that, we will be seeing God opening the doors before us. Let us praise God in the midst of everything. God is faithful as He has always been in breaking through the strongholds for us. But are we faithful to thank the One who has held our life together until this day? Dear God, thank you for your love. May we always trust you with our all. We know that you care about everything in our lives. In Jesus name we thank you for protecting us and guiding us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Hey friend, it's always a joy to visit you with some writing. This morning when I stepped out of my house to do some random errand, I was thoroughly surprised. There was a complete change in the weather. I'm living in the middle of the city in the old Madras area. We recently changed our house to the second floor of the apartment, which is also the top floor. So we had the privilege of enjoying the hot sun in the past month, which left us almost in a melted state. However, today the story is different. It rained last night and was completely cool this morning. In the morning, it was drizzling. The change in the scenario, the cool breeze outside, immediately refreshed my mind. How great is our God. How easy it is for Him to bring a change of scenario, especially when we least expect it. I understood one truth: He will bring a change of scenario in our lives too when we least expect it to happen. Our God is a God of promises. We, those who walk with the Lord, must have received great promises from God in the form of Bible verses, through messages, through church sermons, through YouTube Messages, through a dear friend, or our dear parents. And we may be waiting for a long time, to the extent where we are about to give up on it. As the hot sun is melting us for a very long time and sucking the energy, faith, and light out of our lives. Take courage, my friend. The world we see outside is the work of God. It is His painting. He runs it. He brings the change there in a fraction of time. These are signs for us that God remembers us, that He will bring the change we long to have in our lives too. Get ready to be refreshed and confess that we are stepping towards the season of change, the season of newness, the season of walking in power and anointing with God. Our God never withholds anything from us. We have Him (in Him is everything). Let us not just wait for Him to bless us with abundant wealth, money, positions, etc( the most sought after but meaningless things of the world). There is calmness in the stillness. In His presence, there is fullness. Let's go to His loving presence and spend joyful time with Him, let's talk to Him. When He fills us, we lack nothing. Say the following verse loud my friend. Let us honour our God with thanksgiving. Psalm 30:11-12 You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, To the end that my tongue and my heart and everything glorious within me may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever. Thank you for everything dear Lord. I trust you with everything I have got. Dear God, Thank you for bringing refreshing changes in due time in our lives. Thank you for your loving presence. May we find our joy and everything we need there. We love you, dear Lord. ( verse 6) யாத்திராகமம் 34:33 இல் மோசே ஜனங்களுடனே பேசி முடிக்கும் மட்டும் தன் முகத்தின் மீது முக்காடு போட்டிருந்தான். இரண்டு முக்காடுகளுக்கும் உள்ள வித்தியாசத்தை கவனித்தீர்களா? முதலில் மோசே தேவனை பார்க்க பயந்தான். இரண்டாவது ஜனங்கள் அவனை பார்க்க பயந்தார்கள். காரணம் "தேவப்பிரசன்னம்". இரண்டும் முக்காடு தான். மூடுவது தான் ஆனால் ஒரு பயந்த இரட்சிப்பை அறியாத தேவனை சந்திக்க பயப்பட்ட மோசே தெய்வ பிரசன்னத்தை சுமந்து வந்த போது ஜனங்கள் அவனை பார்த்து பயப்பட்டார்கள். தேவப்பிரசன்னம் நம்மை அந்த அளவு வலிமை உள்ளவர்கள் ஆக்குகிறது. பிசாசு நம்மை பார்த்து நடுங்க வேண்டுமானால் நாம் தேவப்பிரசன்னத்தை சுமப்பவர்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும். நாம் பிரசன்னத்தை சுமப்பவர்களாக இருந்தால் மக்கள் நம்மால் ஆறுதல் அடைவார்கள். தேவனிடம் காத்திருப்போம் பிரசன்னத்தால் நிறைவோம் மக்களை ஆறுதல் படுத்துவோம் பிசாசை ஓட வைப்போம். அன்புள்ள இயேசுவே, மோசேயைப் போல உம்முடைய சமூகத்தில் அமர்ந்திருக்க,உம்முடைய பிரசன்னத்தினால் நிறைய,எங்கள் முகங்கள் பிரகாசிக்க, பிறருக்கு ஆசீர்வாதமாக நாங்கள் இருக்க,பெலத்தால் நிறைந்தவர்களாக வாழ எங்களுக்கு கிருபை தாரும். இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் பிதாவே,ஆமென். வேதம் நம்மை மண்பாண்டங்கள் என்கிறது . மண்பாண்டங்களில் ஏதோ ஒரு காரியத்தை ஊற்றி வைப்பது வழக்கம். பெரும்பாலும் தண்ணீர் அதில் இருக்கும். இங்கு தண்ணீருக்கு அடையாளமான பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம்முள் இருப்பதை ஆறு மற்றும் ஏழு வசனங்களில் காணலாம். இந்த மகத்துவமுள்ள வல்லமை எங்களால் உண்டாயிராமல், தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறதென்று விளங்கும்படி, இந்தப் பொக்கிஷத்தை மண்பாண்டங்களில் பெற்றிருக்கிறோம். 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4 :7 ஒரு கதை உண்டு அதில் விவசாயி ஒருவன் ஓட்டையுள்ள உடைந்த மண்பானையைக் கொண்டு செடிகளுக்கு தண்ணீர் பாய்க்கச் செல்லுவான். அவன் செல்லும் வழியெங்கும் அந்த தண்ணீர் விழுந்து பூச்செடிகளை எழுப்பி இருக்கும். எங்கள் போதகர் இவ்வாறு சொன்னார். ஒரு நதி உண்டு அது செல்லும் இடமெல்லாம் ஆரோக்கியம், பரிசுத்தம் அந்த நதியே ஆவியானவர் என்று. சம்பவிப்பது என்னவென்றால், இந்த நதி போகுமிடமெங்கும் சஞ்சரிக்கும் ஜீவபிராணிகள் யாவும் பிழைக்கும்; இந்தத் தண்ணீர் அங்கே வந்தபடியினால் வெகு ஏராளமான மச்சங்களும் உண்டாயிருக்கும்; இந்த நதிபோகுமிடமெங்குமுள்ள யாவும் ஆரோக்கியப்பட்டுப் பிழைக்கும். எசேக்கியேல் 47:9. நதியான அவரை நம் மண் பாண்டங்களில் பெற்றிருக்கும் நாம் உடைக்கப்படும் தருணங்களில் அவரையே பாயச் செய்கிறோம். நம் வாழ்வில் அவர் அனுமதிக்கும் வலிகள், வேதனைகள் போன்ற உடைக்கப்படும் தருணங்கள் யாவும் மண்பாண்டங்களாகிய நம்மில் அவர் இருக்கையில் வழியெங்கும் அவர் பாய்ந்து சென்று தண்ணீரையும் ஆரோக்கியத்தை மாறுதலையும் செழிப்பையும் தர அவரால் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. மென்மையான ஆவியானவர் தாமே நம்மில் மேலோங்கி இருப்பராக. அன்புள்ள இயேசுவே, எங்களுக்குள் வசிக்கும் ஆவியானவர் தாமே எங்களை நிரப்பியாளட்டும். உடைக்கப்படுகையில் எங்கள் சுயமல்ல அவர் வெளிப்படட்டும். நிறைவான அவர் தாமே எங்கள் குறைகளை நீக்கி எங்களை நிரப்பட்டும்.பரிசுத்தமும் ஆரோக்கியமும் செழிப்பும் எங்களில் மற்றும் நாங்கள் போகும் இடங்களில் நிரம்பி வழியட்டும். இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் பிதாவே, ஆமென்.

லூக்கா 3: 22-ல் மிகவும் அழகான வசனத்தை காணலாம். பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் ரூபங்கொண்டு புறாவைப்போல் அவர்மேல் இறங்கினார். வானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு சத்தமும் உண்டாகி: நீர் என்னுடைய நேசகுமாரன், உம்மில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறேன் என்று உரைத்தது. இதில் இயேசு பாவம் இல்லாதவராயினும் அவரே தேவனாயினும் உலகில் பிதாவை பிரியப்படுத்த, பரலோகம் தன்னை கண்டு மகிழ நோக்கமாய் இருந்தார். ஆம், நம் அனுதின நடவடிக்கைகளை பரலோகம் பார்க்கிறது. தேவனுக்கேற்றவைகளை செய்ய தன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்த இயேசுவுக்கு பரலோகம் திறக்கப்பட்டது. தேவனால் அவரைப்பார்த்து பேசாமல் இருக்க முடியவில்லை. அவர் தன் நேசக்குமாரன் என்றும் தேவன் அவரில் பிரியமாய் இருப்பதையும் தேவனால் கூறாமல் இருக்க இயலவில்லை. விடிந்தால் வேலை அடைந்தால் வீடு என்று வாழ்வை கழிக்கும் நமக்கு தேவனுடைய அன்புள்ள சத்தத்தை கேட்க, நான் உன்னில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன் என்று சொல்வதைக் கேட்க ஆசைதான். இதற்கு தேவையானது ஒன்றே "தேவனை பிரியப்படுத்த நோக்கமாய் இருப்பது". பரலோகத்தோடு இணைக்கப்படும் அனுபவங்களை பெற்று ஆவியில் பலம் கொண்டு வாழ்வது. இயேசுவைப்போல தேவ சத்தத்தை கேட்பது எவ்வளவு ஊக்கமூட்டுவதாக இருக்கும்! அன்று தொடங்கிய ஊழியத்தை இயேசு சிலுவை மட்டும் செய்து முடித்தார். நமக்குத் தேவை எல்லாம் தேவன் நம் கீழ்ப்படிதலையும், எல்லா நீதிகளையும் நிறைவேற்றுதலையும் கண்டு "பிரியமான பிள்ளையே" என்று அழைக்கும் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்பதே. மேலும், அன்று ஆவியானவர் புறாவின் ரூபம் கொண்டு இயேசுவின் மேல் இறங்கினார். நம்மை பலப்படுத்துகிற ஆவியானவர் தேவனை நாம் பிரியப்படுத்துகையில் நம்மில் இறங்கி தங்குகிறார். அன்புள்ள இயேசுவே, எல்லா நீதிகளையும் நிறைவேற்ற, தேவனுக்கு கீழ்ப்படிய, தேவனின் அன்பின் சத்தத்தை கேட்க, ஆவியானவர் எங்களின் தங்கி இருக்க, இந்த நாளில் அருள் செய்யும். இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் பிதாவே,ஆமென்.

மாற்கு 9: 17ல் இருந்து 29 வரை உள்ள வசனங்கள் மிகவும் உபத்திரவத்திற்கு உள்ளான ஒரு மகனைக் குறித்து பேசுகிறது. ஊமையானதும் அவனை தீயிலும் தண்ணீரிலும் தள்ளுவதும் சிறு வயது முதல் அவனைக் கொல்லும்படியானதுமான அசுத்தமான ஆவி அவனுள் இருந்தது. இவன் படும் வேதனையைக் கண்ட அவனது தகப்பனுக்கு எந்த நம்பிக்கையும் இல்லாது ஒரு மனநிலை இருப்பதை காணலாம். தன்மகன் அலைக்கழிக்கப்பட்டு சோர்ந்து போவதை கண்ட தகப்பனுடைய விசுவாசமும் செத்த நிலையிலேயே இருந்தது. வெகு கால போராட்டமும் மாறாத அலைக்கழிக்கும் நிலைமைகளும் சோர்வையே அன்றி வேறெதையும் தருவதில்லை! வசனம் 27ல் அந்த தகப்பன் இயேசுவைக்கண்டபோது அவன் விசுவாசம் எழுப்பப்படவில்லை. நீர் ஏதாகிலும்செய்யக் கூடுமானால் எங்கள் மேல் மனதிறங்கி எங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றான்(வசனம் 22). தீயிலும் தண்ணீரிலும் கடந்து வந்த எவருக்கும் இந்த தந்தையின் வேதனை நிறைந்த பதிலின் அர்த்தம் புரியும். இயேசு அவனிடம் நீ விசுவாசிக்க கூடுமானால் ஆகும் என்கிறார்(வசனம் 23). அப்பொழுதும் அந்த மனிதன் தன்னில் பலன் கொண்டு விசுவாசத்தால், மாற்றத்தைக்குறித்த நம்பிக்கையால் நிறைய முடியவில்லை மாறாக விசுவாசிக்கிறேன் என்று கூறியும் என் அவிசுவாசம் நீங்குபடி உதவி செய்யும் என்று கண்ணீருடன் சத்தமிட்டு சொன்னான்(வசனம் 24). தன் மகனின் இந்நிலை(இயேசு அவனருகில் இருந்தபோதும்)அவனது நம்பிக்கையையும் செத்துப்போக பண்ணியிருந்தது. இந்த சூழ்நிலைக்கு விடை தான் என்ன? சில நேரங்களில் இவர்களுக்கு ஜெபிப்பவர்களுக்கு இயேசுவில் உள்ள விசுவாசத்தோடு கூட இவைகளை விரட்டியடிக்க உபவாசம் தேவை. பிறருடைய விடுதலைக்கான ஜெபம், உபவாசம் நம்மிடம் உள்ளதா? ஏன் நாமும் கூட தீயிலும் தண்ணீரிலும் அமிழ்த்தப்படும் வேளையில் விசுவாசம் செத்து போயிருந்தாலும் உபவாசித்தும் ஜெபித்தும் விடுதலையை நாம் பெற்றுக் கொள்ளலாம். உங்கள் நிலையை பெலனில்லா மனிதரிடம் சீஷர்களிடம் கொண்டு சென்று விடை இல்லாத போது அது எவ்வளவு கடினமாயினும் நீங்களே ஜெபத்தையும் உபவாசத்தையும் ஆயுதமாக கையில் எடுத்து இயேசுவின் பாதத்தில் அமருங்கள். சோர்வு நீங்கி விடுதலை பெறுங்கள். அலைக்கழிப்புகள் ஓயட்டும்! அன்புள்ள இயேசுவே, கடினமான தீயிலும் தண்ணீரிலும் விசுவாசம் கொல்லப்படும் பாதையில் உள்ள எங்கள் மீது இரங்கி ஜெபத்தையும் உபவாசத்தையும் இந்த கட்டுகளை உடைக்கும் பலத்தினாலும் எங்களை நிரப்பும். எல்லா சோர்வுகளையும் நீர் நீங்கப்பண்ணுவதற்காக நன்றி. இதைப் போன்று பாதையில் போகும் பிறருடைய கட்டுகளை உடைக்க எங்களை பெலப்படுத்துவதற்காக நன்றி. இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் பிதாவே. ஆமென்.

எந்த வேலை ஆகினும் அந்த வேலையை தொடர்ந்து செய்து வரும் நமக்கு சோர்வுகள் தடைகள் பலவீனம் உண்டவதை நாம் உணர்ந்து இருப்போம். வேதத்தில் எளிமையான மக்களாக இருந்தாலும் வல்லமையான விசுவாசம் கொண்டவர்களாக அனேகரை பார்த்திருப்போம். அவர்கள் சிறியவர்களாக இருந்தாலும் பெரிய காரியத்தை தேவனுக்கென்று செய்தவர்கள். வேதத்தில் நெகேமியாவை பார்த்தால் தேவனுக்கென்று அவர் உழைத்த போது தடைகள் பல வந்தது அவைகளை அவர் ஜெபித்து மேற்கொண்டார்.எலியாவை நம்மைப் போல பாடுள்ள மனுஷன் என்று வேதம் கூறுகிறது அவனுடைய ஜெபத்தினால் நிகழ்ந்த அற்புதங்கள் ஏராளங்கள். என் அப்பா சோபிதராஜ் கர்த்தருக்கு என்று தன்னிடம் உள்ள அனைத்தையும் கொண்டு ஊழியம் செய்தவர்கள் அவர் ஒரு ஓவியர். இயேசு அழைக்கிறார் ஊழியத்தின் நிமித்தம் சுவர் விளம்பரம் எழுத சில நாட்களுக்கு அவர் வேலை அமர்த்தபட்டார். அப்பொழுது ஆலங்குளம் பஸ் நிலையத்தின் பின்புறம் வெள்ளை அடித்து பின் எழுத ஆயத்தம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். அந்நேரம் ஒரு தடை வந்தது கார்மேகம் சூழ கடுமையான மின்னல் தோன்றி மழை விழ ஆரம்பித்தது. என் அப்பாவிற்கு இது வருத்தத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியது. இதனால் வெள்ளை அடித்தது வீணாகி மற்றொரு நாள் தான் வந்து வேலையை தொடர வேண்டியதாகி விடுமே ஜெபக்கூட்டத்திற்கும் நாட்கள் குறைவாக உள்ளது என்று அவர்கள் எண்ணினார்கள். உடனே அந்தந்த இடங்களில் மழையை பெய்யச் செய்யும் தூதர்கள் உண்டென்று வேதத்தின் படி அவர்கள் அறிந்திருந்ததால் அதை நினைத்து அந்நிய பாஷையில், நான் ராஜாவின் அவசரமான வேலையை செய்யும் ஊழியக்காரன் ஜீவன் உள்ள தேவனின் வேலையை நான் செய்ய விருப்பதால் இங்கு ஒரு மணி நேரம் மழையை நிறுத்துங்கள் என்று ஜெபித்தார்களாம். ஜெபத்திற்கு பதிலாக அந்த கடுமையான மழை ஒரு மணி நேரம் நிற்க என் அப்பா தன் ஊழியத்தை எழுத்து பணியை தொடர்ந்து செய்து நிறைவு செய்தார்கள். தேவ ஊழியத்தை தன்னால் இயன்ற மட்டும் செய்யும் நீங்கள் அதை செய்ய ராஜாவால் கட்டளை பெற்றிருக்கிறீர்கள். "ராஜாவின் வேலை அவசரம்" என்று தடைகள் உடைய கட்டளை இடுங்கள். பரலோகத்தின் தேவன் தாமே உங்களுக்கு காரியத்தை கைகூடி வர பண்ணுவராக. அன்பான இயேசுவே, ராஜாவாகிய உமக்கு எங்களிடம் உள்ளதை கொண்டு உற்சாகமாய் வேலை செய்ய ஆவியின் வல்லமையினால் நிரப்பும். நீர் எவ்வளவு உண்மையுள்ள எஜமான் உன்னதமான உமக்கே மகிமை உண்டாகட்டும். ஆமென்.

அன்றாட வாழ்க்கையில் அனுதினமும் தேவைகள் உள்ளன.இஸ்ரவேலரும் தேவைகளோடு தேவனால் நயங்காட்டி வனாந்தரத்தில் 40 வருடங்கள் நடத்தப்பட்டனர். ஆவிக்குரிய இஸ்ரவேலராகிய நமக்கும் வனாந்திரம் இல்லாமல் கானான் இல்லை. பொதுவாக ஒருவரை வனாந்தரத்தில் விட்டு அவர்களை உணவின்றி தண்ணீர் இன்றி உரக்க அடிக்கும் வெயிலிலும் நடுங்கப்பண்ணும் குளிரிலும் விட்டுவிட்டால் தாங்க முடியாது போராடுவார்கள். ஆனால், தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாகிய நமக்கோ பாதை வனாந்தரமானாலும் நாம் ஒரு நிமிடம் கூட தனித்து நடப்பதில்லை. அவர் சமூகம் நம்மை விட்டு விலகுவதில்லை. தண்ணீருக்கு கண்மலையாக தேவனே வருவார். உணவிற்கு நீங்கள் இது எப்படி இங்கு வந்தது என்று அதிசயக்கும் வண்ணம் மன்னாவைக் கொடுப்பார். உங்கள் பொருள்கள் சேதம் அடையாது பல வருடங்கள் உழைக்கச் செய்வார். வனாந்தரத்தில் தேவனோடு இருக்கும் நாம் எகிப்தியரின் செல்வ செழிப்பை கண்டு அதை இச்சித்தால் பின் மாற்றத்தைத் தவிர வேறு ஒன்றையும் அது தரப்போவதில்லை. தேவன் ஏன் இப்படி நடத்துகிறார் என்பதற்கு வசனத்தின் மூலம் மூன்று காரணங்களை காணலாம்: உபாகமம் 8:2ல் தேவன் இஸ்ரவேலரை சிறுமைப்படுத்தினார் என்று கூறுகிறார் . தேவன் தான் நேசிக்கிற தன் பிள்ளையை தாழ்மையின் வழியில் நடத்தி நம்மை நாம் அறிந்து கொள்ள செய்கிறார். அவர் நம்மில் எல்லாமுமாகும் போது ஏற்ற காலத்தில் கானானுக்குள் கொண்டு செல்கிறார். இரண்டாவதாக உபாகமம் 8:2ஐ மறுபடியும் வாசித்தால் தேவனே நம்மை நடத்துகிறார் என்று நம் வழிகளை நோக்கும் போது நாம் உணரும் வண்ணம் அற்புதங்களையும் அதிசயங்களையும் செய்து தேவன் தேவைகள் நிறைந்த, எவரும் உதவ முன்வராத தனித்துள்ள தவிக்கும் வனாந்தரத்தை அனுமதிக்கிறார். அங்கு மேகமாக, நிழலாக அவரை அன்றி எவராலும் வர முடியாது. எந்த மனிதனும் உதவ போவதில்லை தேவன் மாத்திரமே உதவுவார் என்று அறியும் வண்ணம் அவரை மாத்திரம் சார்ந்து கொள்ளும் படி அதை அனுமதிக்கிறார். மூன்றாவதாக நெகேமியாக ஒன்பது 13 முதல் 21 வாசித்தால் நாம் பின் மாற்றத்தில் சென்று விடாதபடிக்கு, நம் விசுவாச வாழ்க்கை பலப்படுத்தும் படி வனாந்தர பாதைகள் அனுமதிக்கப்படுகிறது. இது எப்படி விசுவாசத்தை பலப்படுத்த முடியும். பலவீனப்படுத்தும் சூழ்நிலைகளே உள்ளதே என்று நீங்கள் கேட்கலாம். அழுத்தும் பிரச்சினைகளோடு அவைகளை உங்கள் முன் சென்று அன்றன்றைக்கான வழித்திறக்கும் தேவன் இருப்பதை காணும் போது கானானை பற்றி அல்ல எண்ணமெல்லாம் நம்முடைய கரம் பிடித்து இருக்கும் தேவனாகவே மாறிவிடுகிறார். இப்படியே நம் விசுவாசம் பலப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. அன்புள்ள இயேசுவே, நீர் அனுமதித்திருக்கும் வனாந்தரம் விசுவாசத்தை கூட்டுவதாய், அற்புதங்கள் நிறைந்ததாய் விட்டுக் கொடுக்காத கைவிடாத தேவனோடு நடக்கும் பாதையாக இருப்பதற்காக நன்றி. இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் பிதாவே, ஆமென்.

லூக்கா நான்காம் அதிகாரம் இயேசு சோதிக்கப்பட்டதை குறித்து பேசுகிறது. அதில் உள்ள ஒரு வசனம் என்னை ஸ்தம்பிக்க செய்தது வசனம் 5,6 ல் இவ்வாறாக பிசாசு ஏசுவிடம் கூறினான். "பின்பு பிசாசு அவரை உயர்ந்த மலையின்மேல் கொண்டுபோய், உலகத்தின் சகல ராஜ்யங்களையும் ஒரு நிமிஷத்திலே அவருக்குக் காண்பித்து இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றின்மேலுமுள்ள அதிகாரத்தையும் இவைகளின் மகிமையையும் உமக்குத் தருவேன், இவைகள் எனக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; எனக்கு இஷ்டமானவனுக்கு இவைகளைக் கொடுக்கிறேன்." வாசித்த எனக்கு ஆம்,உண்மைதானே பிசாசு பிரபலமான பலருடைய வளர்ச்சிக்கு பின் இருக்கிறானே!ஒருவேளை அவனிடம் தான் உலகத்தின் அதிகாரம் உள்ளது போல என்று கூட சிந்தித்தேன். அப்படியானால் கர்த்தருடைய பிள்ளைகள் எப்படி இந்த உலகில் நன்றாக வாழ்ந்திருக்க முடியும் என்ற எண்ணமும் வந்தது. ஒருவேளை இது உண்மையாக இருந்தால் இயேசு அதற்கு பதிலாக அதற்கு ஏற்றார் போல் ஏதும் சொல்லி இருப்பாரே!இயேசுவோ தன்னை தேவனுடைய குமாரனுக்கு மேலாக உயர்த்தி கண் வித்தை காட்டின பிசாசிற்கு சொன்ன பதில் " எனக்கு பின்னாகப்போ சாத்தானே "(லூக்கா 4 –8) என்பதுதான். அப்பொழுதுதான் எனக்கு புரிந்தது. இந்த பிசாசினுடைய பொய் பித்தலாட்டம் நிறைந்த பேச்சு ஏவாளிடமும் இயேசுவிடமும் ஒரே போல் இருந்தது என்று. தெய்வ மகிமையை விரும்பின அவன் இன்றும் உலகும் அதில் ராஜ்ஜியமும் தன்னுடையது என்று பொய்களைக்கூறி நம்மை சோர்வுரச் செய்கிறான். மத்தேயு 28: 18ல் இயேசு இவ்வாறு கூறுகிறார். "அப்பொழுது இயேசு சமீபத்தில் வந்து, அவர்களை நோக்கி: வானத்திலும் பூமியிலும் சகல அதிகாரமும் எனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது". ஆம் சத்தியமான( Truth) இயேசுவின் வார்த்தையின் படி சகல அதிகாரமும் அவருடையது. பூமியை நியாயம் தீர்க்கிறவர் கர்த்தர். நம்மை ஆளுகிறவர், நம் குடும்பத்தை ஆளுகிறவர் கர்த்தர். நம் சபையை ஆளுகிறவர் கர்த்தர். சகல அதிகாரமும் மகிமையும் இயேசுவுக்கு மாத்திரமே உரியது. ஒரு நிமிடத்தில் உலகை காண்பிக்கும் வித்தை பிசாசினிடம் இருந்தது. ஆனால் அவன் சொன்ன ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தையும் பொய். சத்தியம்(Jesus is the truth) என்னும் இயேசுவின் அதிகாரத்தில் நாம் நடக்கையில் இந்த பொய்,கண்வித்தை இவைகளெல்லாம் ஒன்றுமில்லாத பலம் இல்லாத ஒன்றே! இயேசுவே சர்வ வல்லவர் அவரை அண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள். பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் பெலத்தினால் நிறைந்திருங்கள். பிசாசின் கிரியையை, ஆளுகையை இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தைக் கொண்டு கட்டுங்கள். தேவ சுகத்தை, சமாதானத்தை, நிறைவை இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் கட்டவிழ்த்து விடுங்கள். அன்புள்ள இயேசுவே, நீர் எங்கள் தேசத்தை ஆளுகை செய்யும். சகல அதிகாரம் உள்ளவரே எங்களுக்கு முன் செல்லும். உமக்கே சகல வல்லமையும் மகிமையும் கணமும் உரியது. உம் பிள்ளைகளான நாங்கள் வல்லமையான,மகிமையான,கணமுள்ள வாழ்வை வாழ எங்களை ஆசீர்வதியும். இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் ஆமென்.

கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளை ஆவிக்குரிய இஸ்ரவேலர்களாகிய நாம் உரிமை கொண்டு விசுவாசித்து சுதந்தரிக்க (பணத்தையோ, சொத்தையோ பற்றியது மட்டுமல்ல இது) வேண்டும். ஏசாயா 14 :2 இவ்வாறு சொல்கிறது "தங்களை சிறையாக்கினவர்களை சிறையாக்கி தங்களை ஒடுக்கினவர்களை ஆளுவார்கள். அவர்கள் இவ்வாறு பாடுவார்கள் . வசனம் 4-ன் படி "ஒடுக்கினவன் ஒழிந்து போனானே!" இது கர்த்தர் நமக்கு கொடுத்த வாக்கு. நம் வாழ்வில் சிறையான காரியங்கள் விடுவிக்கப்படும். அந்த நாள் வந்தே தீரும். ஒடுக்கினவன்(மனிதனல்ல)ஒழிந்து போவதும், அவன் மேல் நாம் ஆளுகை செய்வதும் நடந்தே தீரும். நம்பிக்கையற்ற வாழ்க்கையோ விடியல் இல்லாத வாழ்க்கையோ நம்மில் எவருக்கும் நியமிக்கப்பட்டது அல்ல. தேவன் சிறைகளை உடைப்பதை நம் கண்கள் காண போகிறது நம்மை ஒடுக்கினவன் இல்லாமல் நாம் விசாலமாக (விசுவாசத்தில் பெருகிபெருகினவர்களாக) வாழும் நாட்களையும் நாம் காணுவோம். இந்த அதிகாரம் முழுவதையும் வாசித்தால் இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் எழுதி வைத்த கர்த்தர் இவ்வாறாக சொல்கிறார். சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் இப்படி நிர்ணயித்திருக்கிறார் யார் அதை வியர்த்தம் ஆக்குவான். கர்த்தருடைய திட்டம் நாம் பலவானிடம் சிறையாவது அல்ல அவனை சிறையாக்குவது. ஒடுக்குபவனிடம் அகப்படுவது அல்ல, அவன் மடிந்து ஒரு செத்தவன் மேல் உள்ள துணியைப் போல் ஆவதை காண்பது. ஆவிக்குரிய யுத்தத்தில் சத்துருவுக்கு இரக்கம் கிடையாது . உங்கள் வேதத்தை பட்டயத்தை கையில் எடுங்கள் எதிரியை சங்கரித்து முன்னேறிச் செல்லுங்கள். உங்கள் சிந்தனையில் சிறையாகாது பாடுங்கள் சங்கிலிகள் உடையட்டும். நாம் குமாரனுடையவர்கள் விடுதலையோடே நாம் வாழ வேண்டும். அன்புள்ள இயேசப்பா, இந்த நாளுக்குரிய பலத்தினால் எங்களை நிரப்புங்க. எதிரான சவால் நிறைந்த சூழ்நிலைகளை, சிந்தனைகளை நீர் நிர்ணயித்திருக்கிற படி எங்கள் முன் மாற்றுவதற்காக நன்றி. கர்த்தருடைய சேனையின் வீரர்களாக நாங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் மேற்கொண்டு வாழ போவதற்காக நன்றி. இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில்,ஆமென்.

சிந்தனைக்கான வேதப்பகுதி : மாற்கு- 4 :37,38,39 அலைகள் மற்றும் கொந்தளிக்கும் கடல் இவைகள் மத்தியில் படகில் இயேசு உறங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார் . சீஷர்கள் அவரை எழுப்பி பதறிப் பேசினார்கள். பயந்து போன அவர்கள் தாங்கள் மரித்து விடுவோம் என்றும் அதைப்பற்றி இயேசுவிற்கு கவலை இல்லை என்றும் எண்ணினார்கள்.அதையே 38 ஆம் வசனத்தில் இவ்வாராக கூறினார்கள். அவர்கள் அவரை எழுப்பி: போதகரே, நாங்கள் மடிந்துபோகிறது உமக்குக் கவலையில்லையா என்றார்கள். சீறும் அலைகள் நம்மை மூழ்கடித்துவிடும் போன்ற சூழலில் நாம் என்ன நினைக்கிறோம். தேவனுக்கு நம்மை விட ஏதும் முக்கியமான வேலை உள்ளது என்றா?அவர் நம் கஷ்டத்தை உணர்வதில்லை என்றா?அந்த அதிகாரத்தை பார்த்தால் இயேசு சீரும் சூழலில் படகிலேயே தான் இருந்தார். விசுவாசமற்ற வார்த்தையை விடாது இயேசுவே நீர் இந்த கடல் சீற்றத்துக்கும் பயமுறுத்தலுக்கும் மேலானவர் என்று அறிக்கையிடுங்கள். எல்லாவற்றிலும் மேலானவர் மகிமைப்படட்டும். அவர் சீஷர்களை கடல் நடுவில் விட்டுவிடவில்லை. நம்மையும் தனிமையில் போராட விடப்போவதில்லை. அவருடைய ஒரு வார்த்தை எல்லாவற்றையும் அமர்த்தியே ஆகும். கீழ்ப்படிந்து அமைதியாக போவதை தவிர அலைகளுக்கு வேறு வழியில்லை. ஜெபம்: அன்பான இயேசுவே, எல்லாவற்றிலும் மேலானவரான நீர் என் வாழ்வின் அலைகள் மத்தியில் இருப்பதற்காக நன்றி. என்னை குறித்த கரிசனையோடு அவைகளைக்கீழ்ப்படிய கட்டளையிட்டதற்காக நன்றி. இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் ஆமென்.
